Since our family is growing, I’m thinking about family (of five) photo shoot ideas. Below are some of my favorites:

So many to choose from! I guess I should wait until we’ve met out matchee, but I’m so excited already! Eeeeeek!
This is us.
Sunday we did an adoption photo shoot and I learned a few things:
- Always tell the photographer that you are a person of color before the shoot. The suggestions that she was making don’t look good with Black and Mexican/Black folks.
- Be clear with the photographer about you want them to watch out for .. .bulging tummy, bra straps, extra chins, etc. I really had to tell her that I’m too fat to be bending and scrunching my stomach up. Really? REALLY? You don’t see the fat hanging over the pants? LOL
- Make sure that you are specific about what, if any, poses you want. We didn’t get good shots with some of the props because I was letting her lead. I should have been more clear about what I wanted.
Anyhoo … here are a few of the best (I think) ones. She hasn’t doctored them up yet, but I couldn’t wait to share … so please excuse the watermarks.
The note says, “Looking forward to loving you”
Here’s the trike we painted.
I wanted to do one pair at a time, but this is so cute.
Great book about how the mom kangaroo will always love the baby kangaroo … no matter what.
