We love to travel! We’ve been to Peru (because the tickets were $300 round trip including taxes and fees!), Dominican Republic (for grad school), Jamaica (for fun), Canada (to present a paper at a conference), England (because we were already in Europe), France (because we missed our flight from Amsterdam back to Madrid), Netherlands (to visit Amsterdam), Spain (because She has wanted to go since undergrad), Japan (because He has wanted to so since high school) and the Bahamas (because they are a “safe” chain of islands during hurricane season) so far …. we’re working on getting to a few more.
As our family grows we’ll be taking everyone on the road. We’ve been reading up on how to continue our globe-trotting when we need car seats, baby bottles, wipes, etc. on the road.
We went to Europe in 2006 and visited southern Spain, England, Netherlands and France. This is Her at the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam.
We visited Jamaica in 2005 and went to Kingston, Montego Bay, Negril and Ocho Rios. This is Him in front of the Bob Marley Museum in Kingston.
We visited New Orleans in 2004. This is us eating craw fish in the French Quarter.
We’ve been to New York City too many times to count. This was our first trip to NYC together a looooooong time ago. I don’t remember what was so funny …. Lol
A few years ago we got some family members together and rented a cabin the Poconos mountains. This is Him on the slopes while we were trying to learn how to snow board.
There is a little town on the way from Los Angeles to Las Vegas named Calico. We stopped one time and visited the old western town. Do we look like we could be extras in Young Guns? Lol
In 2011 we went to Japan. We visited Tokyo, Hiroshima, Osaka and Kyoto. This is a photo of us at a temple in Kyoto.
